formula question

Anyone have a preference between similac and enfamil? Did your lo tolerate one over the other?

Re: formula question

  • I prefer Enafmil. Seems to settle better on LO's tummy.

  • DD has done well on Similac since birth.  But after a lot of trial and error, the ready to feed is much better on her tummy than powder.  Cost more but a lot easier on me too!
  • We use Enfamil. Have thought about switching due to spit up issues but haven't. We have used the newborn and infant. Now we are doing a trial with prosobee.

  • We are using the Enfamil Gentlease - I got tons of free samples of cans from Enfamil so we started with the newborn and switched to Gentlease once it was time, he does really well with it although I do breastfeed the majority of the time.

  • Our pedi started our LO on Similac when I found out I didn't have any BM.  We've stuck with Similac Sensitive and it works for us.

  • Both gave my kid chunky diarrhea. We're on Gerber Gentle.

  • We use enfamil. DD has done much better on it than similac. We did try both when trying to figure out her tummy issues, per the pedi. I'm a big fan.

  • Due to milk supply issues we were supplementing with Similac. After I could no longer breastfeed, I noticed the Similac was constipating him and hurting his tummy bad. We switched to sensitive but still had the same issues. Finally we tried Enfamil newborn/infant and hes done great on it!
  • We haven't had problems with any of the formula, but we ended up sticking with Enfamil Newborn and then Enfamil Infant, and my daughter does really well on it.  Doesn't spit up that often!
