Weird red mark

in September 2011 Moms

K gets this weird red mark. He has it every morning when he wakes up, sometimes it has a drop of blood. It fades within a few hours. But every morning it's there. Same spot, on the back of his neck.

ideas?

    Not pjs. He wears different ones. This is from this morning and I checked, no tag on shirt from last night.

    I've never noticed pinching or scratching. He sleeps with me, so I would think I would notice?

    It doesn't seem to bother him. Like he doesn't even know its there.

    Weird.

    That looks like a insect bite :/ but if you say that he sleeps with you, you would have it too... still it could be him scratching and maybe you don't notice. You could watch for a while or maybe put a camera to record him diring the night? So far the only thing that comes to my mind now.

    it is raised. I tried to pay attention all night to his neck. The only thing I can think of, is that he sometimes sleeps in the crease of my elbow. When I notice he's asleep on my arm, I will pull it out.

    so maybe the heat from my arm?

    maybe...but still seems superficial to me. It's all I can think of though because it goes away during the day when cooler?Kwim I'm going to keep thinking about it...
