Weird red mark

K gets this weird red mark. He has it every morning when he wakes up, sometimes it has a drop of blood. It fades within a few hours. But every morning it's there. Same spot, on the back of his neck.

Not pjs. He wears different ones. This is from this morning and I checked, no tag on shirt from last night.

I've never noticed pinching or scratching. He sleeps with me, so I would think I would notice?

It doesn't seem to bother him. Like he doesn't even know its there.

That looks like a insect bite but if you say that he sleeps with you, you would have it too... still it could be him scratching and maybe you don't notice. You could watch for a while or maybe put a camera to record him diring the night? So far the only thing that comes to my mind now.

it is raised. I tried to pay attention all night to his neck. The only thing I can think of, is that he sometimes sleeps in the crease of my elbow. When I notice he's asleep on my arm, I will pull it out.

so maybe the heat from my arm?

maybe...but still seems superficial to me. It's all I can think of though because it goes away during the day when cooler?Kwim I'm going to keep thinking about it...
