I know what evaporation lines are, but this question is a little trickier.
The instructions on many tests say something like:
"Read your results after two minutes. Do not read your results after ten minutes have past."
This way you don't accidentally read the evaporation lines. My question is, if the line is so faint you can't really be sure it's there at two minutes, but then steadily gets darker until, at about 9 minutes, it's an absolutely faint positive, could it still be evaporation lines? I was always under the impression that if you looked at it at 2 or 3 or 5 minutes, and you saw *anything* that looked like a line, it counts. My husband and I can't seem to agree, because we are terribly afraid to get our hopes up, but I'm late, no sign of AF, approximately 15dpo, and I'm seeing lines everywhere.
Any help is appreciated.
Re: A Question About Pregnancy Tests.
Thank you all for your lightning fast responses!
This is probably a dumber question, but would a digital test show positive if a non-digital line would only show a faint line? I'm not sure if I'm explaining my question very well, but I hope someone gets it.
it depends on the strength of the test (I think that's the right word)
