the best week of my entire pregnancy.

On Monday I got a job, one I didn't particularly want, but one that would at least pay for things. I also had an interview for a job that I really did want. And today, I got it. I'm so thrilled. I called the first job and let them know I wouldn't be taking it.

I'm working as a substitute for a preschool. I was thinking this would be an hour here, a day there, maybe a week if a teacher had the flu. Turns out I'll be working full time for 6 weeks as of Feb 15th to fill in for another teacher. Then it'll be here and there until I have the baby. Once she's 6 weeks old, I become full time permanent teacher and only have to pay 1/4 the cost of day care ($180) for her.

I'm SO thrilled. Originally I was going to keep the first job until I had the baby but now I don't have to do that job at all and get to jump right into what I love. Things are going so well right now. Now to wait for our little girl to arrive!

actually, the best part is that I most likely will be working in the infant room!

That's great! I loved my job at the daycare. The infant room was my favorite! It is so fun to watch them change so much in such a short amount of time.
