So, my son had his 6 appointment and shots yesterday. He was okay yesterday, a little whiny but no fever. Today he threw up his first bottle of the day and then the few bites of rice cereal I gave him 20 minutes ago (he never spits up, so this is odd). He seems fine otherwise, totally normal. Could this have something to do with his shots yesterday?
Re: Throwing up after shots
Our 6 month shots were horrible. DS ran a 101 degree fever for two days and he threw up (not spit up, legitimate gagging puke). He only did the once, so I suspect it was related to the shots.
I would just call your pedi if it happens again, but my DS was fine after the one puking incident.
I'm just curious where you read this? DH was vaccinated and NEVER gets sick. Seriously, he's been sick like half a dozen times in all of his 32 years. I, on the other hand, was also vaccinated and am constantly sick. I think it depends person to person.
