Underbite?

Anyone else has a child with an underbite? My son will be 2 in June. I do plan on taking him to the dentist but just wondering if anyone else has a child with an underbite and has been seen by the dentist. My son only has his 8 front teeth and 4 molars so he still has more to come in.

    My 16 month old has an underbite. He hasn't been to see a dentist yet and I hear that often it self-corrects as their jaws grow.

    We noticed our daughter had a bit of an overbite and were told it may correct itself. Hers has already seemed to correct itself and she's 20 months but maybe it takes a little longer for some to correct. I wouldn't worry about it just yet but it wouldn't hurt to ask a dentist. I don't remember the usual age to start being concerned about it.
