Hi Ladies --
Yesterday I got the results of my RPL bloodwork. Everything came back normal except for MTHFR C677T. It came back as Heterozygous Positive. I'm trying to find some literature but have not had any luck yet.
When my RE explained the results to me, he said they usually don't intervene unless there is more than one mutation. He said I can take a baby aspirin if I want. (I'm switching REs because I'm moving so I'm going to see what the new RE has to say)
Anyway, just wondering if anyone can give me any insight? TIA!

Re: MTHFR mutation experts needed!
ETA: changed a word
I'm compound heterozygous, which means I have an extra copy of each of the 2 mutations. My RE just put me on Folgard ( folic acid and B vitamins). I'm not really an expert, but I think each different mutation has their own treatments/risks involved. I'm told that mine is not that big of a concern until I hit menopause ( you can't take hormone replacements)...and you don't absorb folic acid appropriately.
Hope some of this was helpful!
