Wow, I'm still in shock. This morning (11 DPO) I POAS'd and saw a faint test line, but wasn't sure if it was still valid b/c I only saw it after 10 mins and the test had been sitting out for a while. Was going to wait til tomorrow morning to POAS again, but by noon it was driving me crazy so I went home and took two tests (wonfdo and a store brand test). This time around I sat in the bathroom with a watch. Definitely saw a very very faint line on both tests and I couldn't believe it! I honestly thought that my mind was playing tricks on me. Wasn't until DH told me he could see them too that I actually believed it. I'm prob still going to POAS a hundred more times before I start telling our immediate family.
Unfortunately telling DH wasn't the way I had planned. I had this whole thing planned out where I was going to give him a book for expectant fathers and let him figure it out, but obviously I didn't make it that far.
Hopefully everything turns out okay. I'm trying not to get too excited. But anyway, wanted to thank you guys out there. I've learned so much by being here and I'm so glad that we have message boards like this for support. Wishing you all the best in this crazy journey.

Oh FFS, I try to stay away of commenting when it's you two, but you just grinds my gears
Being told by someone who has been trying for a whole month that "this is a crazy journey" is just so out there, that it's almost funny.
Who said there was shame to have regarding the fact that she got pregnant on her first cycle? A lot of women just know oh-so-much-more about how CRAZY this flucking journey is.
Congrats OP -
Spooks was here
Congrats.

1 month does not equal a "journey." It's funny to call trying to conceive a journey when you have immediate success.
If you ordered pizza would you refer to your walk to the front door as a journey? Only is you were being a jerk, right?
ETA- OP- I wish you a healthy 9 months.
Thank you all for the well wishes.
For anyone that may have been offended by my post, that was not my intention at all. Maybe I chose the wrong words? I genuinely hope that things work out for all of you ladies. Even though my time here was short, I have read many of your posts about how the ups and downs of ttc. Maybe I can't relate to what you're going through in ttc, but I can relate to being frustrated, disappointed, anxious and needing support. God knows I've had my fair share of all of those in my life. So anyway, I just want to wish you all the best.

This board is for entertainment.
I don't care what anyone on here says about me and I don't think other people should be too upset when others call them out.
When I referred to being a jerk it was more along the Steve Martin version of "The Jerk"- hence the "journey" to the front door to get pizza example.
