Hey ladies. This question is for women who have Cigna insurance. Through the Healthy Babies Program we can get our breast pumps for free. My understanding is that our doctor just needs to write a perscribtion for the pump then send it into Care Centrix. My question is the timing. The woman on the phone said you couldn't send in the Rx and recieve the pump until AFTER the birth of your child. Is this accurate or is there a way to get it before you give birth? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
Re: Cigna Breast Pump
You may also want to talk to them about their pregnancy program. I spoke with the same woman who signed me up and asked some initial questions. They are going to call me at 5 and 7 months and after the child is born they are going to send me 150. It's worth looking into because it's an easy way to make a little !
we have cigna and will get my pump from a different supply company than what you've got listed as yours. I cannot order mine until I am 30 days away from my due date.
Like PP said, I signed up for the pregnancy program during my 1st tri and am getting $250 deposited into our HRA account once baby is born. Pretty stoked about that!!
