They're awful. I really hope they settle down soon - before my husband runs away screaming. Seriously. I found myself breaking down in tears in front of DD1 yesterday. She really didn't need to see that
Pp hormones are rough but I'm sure it won't be long to you're back to yourself. I'm dreading them too. I just said the other day how i will probably be crying for two weeks after!
Thanks ladies.I just didn't expect them to be so bad, I guess. And the fact that DD2 is reacting to the new baby isn't helping either. sigh One day at a time...
What's DD2 up to? I'm just curious because I know I'm in for it! DS is such a momma's boy and he's getting pretty bossy.

She just wants our attention, I guess. If I'm holding the baby, she will tell me "B?b? Dodo" ("dodo" is for "sleepy time") and point to my bedroom so that I can go and put him down. And we can't change the baby's diaper in her presence without her having a meltdown that involves pulling her pants off and tugging at her diaper until we change her as well (I thought the issue was sharing her change table, but it apparently is diaper changes, period). And of course she REALLY wants whoever is holding the baby to hold her as well.
She does have sweet moments with her brother, though. Like she will randomly come up to us and hug him/kiss him. I guess she's trying to decide what to make of him?
Overall, I'm sure it could be worse, but since DD1 never had any type of reaction after her sister's birth, I kind of expected DD2 to be the same.
I'm sorry you're having a tough time! Wow, I just had a flashback to how weepy I was after DD was born, I had forgotten about all of that! Give yourself some time, things will settle down, I'm sure of it
