NSAIF: Ok ladies...need your thoughts

Long story short...

A resident of my community posted on our HOA website advertising her massage services. I went to her site to check it out (could sure use a massage myself) it turns out she is doing the rub downs from her house.  She is licensed, but is not practicing at a licensed establishment.

I only know that she is required to because I happen to have just quit working for the state agency that regulates her profession.  I was in the same area as the investigators that handle those cases and would hear a lot of their convos.

Do I just ignore it and act like I never saw the posting?  Suggest to her that maybe she should rethink posting?  Turn her in?

  • I think I would warn her of the consequences... perhaps she is unaware? I doubt I would turn her in, but I would worry someone else would

  • I think I would warn her of the consequences.  I certainly would not think there was an isssue practicing from your house if you were certified/licensed (though I guess if you get licensed in your jurisdiction you would know the rules around practicing...)

  • Thanks ladies.  I sent her an email containing a link to the rules/regulations for practicing massage in our state.  I really hope I don?t offend her as I really was sincere and just trying to help her in my email.

Ok, so would it be totally inappropriate for me to go to her anyway, she did have some awesome deals posted...hahaha totally joking ;)

    thanks again.
