Anyone been thinking of nursery furniture?

I am just over 7 weeks and I have all the nursery furniture picked out, I managed to talk myself out of ordering it today. Since I really want to paint the nursery first and trying to wait for my ultrasound to determine sex since that will dictate if I can include purple or if I have to do green. But I don't know how long I can hold off at this rate.
Is anyone else picking out their furniture yet? Have you ordered it or when are you planning to buy?

I have some ideas of what I want, but I haven't bought anything. I am about to start having the dresser I want to use as a changing table refinished.

I would've been way too nervous to order anything this early anyway though.
We didn't order the crib until I was about 6 months pregnant with DS1.
I had 5 baby showers! My work friends, his work friends, church, my family, and his family. I had so much stuff, it was awesome!! You cant have to many showers if friends/family want to throw them for you. ;
As I admitted yesterday, I have a secret registry with no less than three cribs on it. I've narrowed down my choices and now I'm just waiting to go live with the news.
And about throwing your own shower: I have a friend who threw two for herself. She got friends to "host" them but it was all her. I think people were weirded out beforehand, but once we got there it was a normal baby shower and nobody cared.
I don't have time or the inclination to throw myself a shower, though. To each her own.

This. You would HAVE to do green if what? Is that boy or girl? Is purple a girl color? I'm confused.
Our 'nursery' will be in our bedroom, I have sloped ceilings, so the little 'nook' area in our room where the ceiling slopes down will have a crib and a changing table to hold baskets of baby items. So...I guess our nursery is beige.

I've already been buying stuff, and I'm only 6w.
But, it's all neutral-ish items I've been scoring at garage sales and thrift stores over the past weekend. Just onesies and sleepers and things we will need 1,000 of. I just can't pass up brand new looking items for .25-$1.
Once I'm farther along, we'll start stockpiling laundry soap and wipes and some diapers, though I'm going to research cloth diapering and buying those as well.
I haven't shopped at stores for new items, I'm trying to buy what I can secondhand. And my Dad is retired, but works part time at Toys R Us building all the bikes and baby stuff and swing sets, so he's on the lookout for a crib, he'll be able to score a floor model or a clearance one and get his work discount too!
