I did three times after 40 and miscarried the first 2 before 8 weeks. I'm not convinced that was due to my age, though, as I have some other health issues. However, I made it through the 3rd pregnancy (closely monitored) and had a healthy little girl at the age of 42.
No treatments-stopped using diaphgram in Jan, got bfp in March. Was suprised that it was like that-after reading all the awful stats about fertility at this age.
I did, but it took a little while. I'm 41 and we were trying for about two years. I started taking an herbal fertility prep tincture and it only took two bottles before I was preggers!
Surprise pregnancy at 42 due to only 1 time without protection. Will deliver at 43. DH and I were shocked, since our two other kids are 12 and 14 and we thought we were done a decade ago!
This LO was conceived naturally but after a failed IVF cycle.

42 here. We actually tried a couple rounds of clomid last fall, but decided after I turned 42 to just see if it happened naturally. We actually had just made the decision to call it quits and wait for grandkids (I have a 19 year old daughter), when all of a sudden I was 4 days late, took a test and got a BFP.
I did. I started charting and just tried to time everything right. I have had several pregnancies without any help though, this is the first one that seems to be going right. I am 2 weeks away from second tri so far development is good.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
Got pregnant after only 3 months to our surprise- no fertility. We invested $60 in the Clear Blue Ovulation predictor and that little happy face worked the first time. I'm a believer! I'm not quite yet 40 but will be when we deliver. My husband was overseas for almost 2 years and we feared that we would struggle when we finally did try and may need to resort to fertility. Before doing so we opted to try the ovulation predictor and it turned out that perfect timing is all we needed.

Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!
twice: at 40, born at 41, again at 42. DD2 sort of a surprise since I was breastfeeding and thought at my age what are the chances....she's due in a month.
I got pregnant just before my 41st birthday. We were about to start IVF. The doctor was able to pinpoint the exact day I ovulated and we got pregnant before needed to start the treatments.
Me! 40 when conceived and now 41, due 8/30/13. Only two months of "trying". Happily surprised with many many friends who had fertility issues and miscarriages. I am 23 weeks today and we have had no complications.
I was pregnant for my first time last year when I was 39 after only one month of trying. Unfortunately, it ended in an incomplete miscarriage before my first prenatal appointment. We've been trying now for 6 months and found out just yesterday that I'm pregnant again. This due date is very close to my birthday; I might be 40 or 41 for the birth (fingers crossed). We only charted. No meds or fertility boosters like herbs or sperm-friendly lube.
Me! 40 when TTC and will still be 40 when DS is born.

Me too! I was told early in my years that I was most likely sterile because of medication given to me for my severe asthma. I had never gotten pregnant and by the time I was 33 I was para-menopausal. I had already gone through most of the menopausal symptoms by the time I was 43. I took care of my disabled mother for 20 years and she lived with me for 10. I met my new partner in life and exactly 1 year and 1 week from my 46 birthday and my mothers passing I got pregnant. I thought I was ending menopause finally, but out of the blue or maybe a gut feeling, I decided to take a pregnancy test as I had kept track of my periods for 7 years. I had 3 pregnancy tests done and finally an ultrasound to determine if I was indeed pregnant as the doctor said I could have a false positive because of hormones. Simply, God blessed me with a miracle and a gift of a baby girl. I am currently 33 weeks and so far everything has been going very well. I will be close to 48 by the time I deliver. Miracles do happen!
