We use Dr. Bronners as body wash for all 3 of us and I've been using the Mustela shampoo we had from when DS was a baby. It just ran out (after 3 years LOL) and I'm not sure what to switch to.
You could use that. I've said before that we don't use shampoo on the girls, just conditioner. I've used the natural garnier, can't remember the name, and the whole foods 365 brand. I've used others, too.
What do you use to wash there hair, or do you just condition it?
My dd is 2 now and I use my shampoo and conditioner on her now.
Us too. We use the shampoo/body wash in one. It's nice to just have one bottle. It smells nice and actually makes decent bubbles too if you squirt it under the faucet. There is a regular and a creamier one. They are pretty much interchangeable.

I'm curious too. Does it really clean their hair when you just use conditioner?
I think it does. Like I said, I've never used shampoo in their hair, it isn't dirty at all...dd1 gets compliments on her hair all the time.
I've posted before about how none of us use shampoo...I use baking soda and apple cider vinegar once a week or so. Sometimes with conditioner, sometimes I use just conditioner.
If I don't wash DS's hair for a week it starts to smell
He runs hot though and when he's running around playing his head sweats.
Some Suave Naturals stuff I bought for me but didn't like. It makes her hair look great and it's nice and soft. It doesn't bother her skin, scalp or eyes so I keep using it.
I was using Burt's Bees Baby Wash or Watkins Baby on it, but just wasn't cutting it. Her hair was looking slimy and stringy and just dirty even with everyday wash. Now I do it like 2xs a week.

Normally I wash it twice a week, we will see how this summer goes, when they're sweatier and dirtier than winter!
I know some kids are big sweaters though, and dd1 isn't. I'm sure that makes a difference.
My thing with shampoo is that it strips your scalp and hair of its natural oils, so your hair can get dried out and your scalp overproduced oils to make up for it, that's why most people have to wash daily of every other day. It's greasy from overproduction.
Yeah I have heard that. And really, we use natural body wash without chemicals so I'm not sure why we haven't changed our shampoos yet. Maybe I'll try the baking soda/apple cider vinegar thing. How exactly do you do it?
We still have shampoo leftover from my baby shower. Mostly we use CA Baby, but we also have some Burt's Bees and I just got a container of Honest Company shampoo in my Citrus Lane box.
Re: What shampoo do you use on LO?
I use either burt's bee's or honest company body wash. I prefer honest company!
I just made some goats milk soap a couple weeks ago and will eventually be switching to that for babies.

Aveda be curly
I wash his hair maybe twice a week. The oil does wonders for his curls.
Us too.

I like JR Liggett's shampoo bar for myself, it's gentle enough that you could use it on kids. It's mainly coconut oil.
