What are you doing tonight?

For us, we just got done having dinner (burritos). And now Dh is working out in the shop on a tractor, and I will be putting lo to bed in 30min. Then I really need to work on this 12page paper I need to write. But I know I'll most likely watch TV.

Waiting to go get Chinese food for me and DH, and to bring it to him at work! Also watching TV instead of writing two papers! : dh doesn't get off till 3am so no accountability to keep me from greys anatomy tonight!

Right now, my DH and I are at a diaper party. I'm sitting in my car warming up because it's cold outside. Also, pregnant hormones are overcoming me because I feel like an outsider and noone is really talking to me, so I'm forcing myself to hold back the tears. Ugh. Hope all you ladies have a great night.

Just got done buying a whole bunch of maternity clothes spent 110 on like 8 bottoms and 6 shirts and I already can't wait to wear the pants they are sooo comfortable. Other than that I'm just sitting home bored taking pictures of my non existent bump lol

I just got back from Walmart and I almost went postal on the 75+yr old cashier!

First, I was irritated that they only had 2 lanes open, so the lines were super long.

Second, another lane opened up, the guy told the lady in front of me to go over there. By the time she and I got there, the lady that was in front of her was already in line! And all her stuff was already on the belt from the first one!

Third, I asked the cashier if she had a paper towel because it looked like the milk was leaking, it was on some of my stuff. She just says, "They all do that."

Umm, no, this has never happened to me before. She was just too lazy to walk over to a different lane and get the paper towels! Grrr......

I was so close to really telling her off....

We just got home from a cookout/keg party at a friends house who's moving to Cali next week. lol it was "so fun" being sober and having ppl spill beer all over me! Haha we had a good time though!

I had major craving for a CHEESE DREAM from burger joint called the Good Steer that is a half hour away. So, I put DS in the van and drove my over there. Its a burger with onion straws, bacon, and tomatoes with homemade cheese sauce poured on top of the tomatoes and burger. IT IS TO DIE FOR. Plus the cheese sauce that falls off ends up on the fries...it's amazing. My son had a little burger and sweet potato fries and ate almost the whole thing plus ice cream. Apparently he thought it was amazing too lol.

Then we drove over to see my old friend who I used to be a manager with at Petco. She is still with them...surprisingly lol. So she showed my son all the animals and it was really nice to see her it had been over a year since we saw her.

Once we were done there we went across the street to the mall and roamed around and it was SO FREAKING HOT! I swear I was having hot flashes. By the time we got home we were both exhausted. Now I just put him to bed and sat my azz down. DH is working until tomorrow night so I won't see him till Mon. Boo...also I started getting a sore throat and runny nose. Oh YAY!

We had a date night at the melting pot tonight for dinner. Then we went to BBB to purchase our car seat since we had a coupon, merchandise credit, and gift cards. After all discounts we paid $1.42! It was so fun to look at everything to make this feel real after losing our first baby. I will probably go to bed soon since I am lame. Lol

Went for a 6 mile hike with DH, then undid all the good of the hike by having Friendly's. now I'm couching it with DH watching some TV bc I'm exhausted we were only supposed to hike 3 miles!

Yea...now u know why I drove a half hour. The cheese sauce is soooo good...none of that nacho cheese fake crap.

I had a craft show today. Set up STARTED at 6:30 and we live a half hour away. I am sooooooo tired. It was a good day though! Along with sales, I scored an American Girl Bitty Baby crib for a dollar!!! It is in great condition. I also got a rug for the girls room. I love deals!

By the way, what's a diaper party?

It's like the male version of a baby shower. You invite friends and they need to bring either diapers or wipes, and in return the host supplies food, beer, pop, etc. A sister, brother, family member, or friend puts in on for the dad to be. My DH will be having one.

My parents took DD for the night so DH and I took advantage of it and ate dinner at Longhorn and saw the movie Pain and Gain. Now I'm catching up on party prep that we were supposed to do tonight instead of our impromptu date night.
