Mobile: I can never show my face at Denny's again

I was craving Denny's for breakfast this morning, so we went. BF isn't a fan of breakfast food (which I could eat at any time of the day), so he orders nachos and a burger, while I order a slam. We get the nachos first, and I have a few, and they were super amazing. And then the waiter brings our entrees, and I lose it. I ran to the bathroom but didn't quite make it. I had puke dripping down my shirt, into my bra. Most of it ended up on the bathroom floor, and the sink. I had just had a full glass of iced tea, so it was mostly liquid, which meant more mess.

One of the employees was in there at the time, and she went and got the manager and someone to clean up. I had been trying to clean it up as much as possible using paper towels. I was so embarrassed. I explained that I was pregnant, but I don't know if that really makes a difference to the people that had to clean it up. And then I had to do the walk of shame from the restroom back to my table, with my shirt completely soaked with my own puke. And I swear, everyone in the restaurant was staring at me. We grabbed to-go boxes for our food, and left a really big tip, and took off.

You poor thing! I'm sure they weren't thrilled about cleaning up puke but I'm also sure they could tell how embarrassed you were. I hope your day gets better!

I'm so sorry! I would be super embarrassed, too. But I'm sure you're not the first person to ever puke in a Denny's! And if there were any mothers in the diner I'm sure they felt sorry for you. Maybe by the end of your pregnancy it will just be a funny story!

I have drunk vomited in Denny's before. Hash browns at 2 am after a night out sound like the best idea ever. I gurantee they have cleaned up TONS of puke. Don't stress about it.

Oh my gosh I feel so badly for you! I am sure everyone felt badly for you and they weren't judging you even though I am sure it felt like that. It will be a good story to tell your little one when they're a teenager.

This reminded me of a college story. I was completely hungover and puking in the restroom at Denny's. I was so horrified that when a lady asked me if it was morning sickness I said yes because I didn't want to have to tell her I was just a degenerate

I posted it on facebook right after it happened. It's embarrassing, and I really feel horrible about it, but I know it's one of those things that I have to be able to laugh about at some point.

I can completely empathize with you. At the same time, though, I'm jealous. All the Denny's in my area closed years ago. The nearest one is like 2 hours away and I love me some Denny's.

I thought for sure that was going to happen to me at Red Robin last night. I'm pretty sure I almost pushed a woman out of my way when she was standing between me and the bathroom! Luckily for me, I just spent a while dry heaving into the toilet.
