Ring Wearers

Has anyone quit wearing their rings yet? I used to sleep in my wedding rings but they are super tight in the mornings now. So I take them off when I sleep but I'm noticing more and more during the day they are tighter although my fingers don't look or feel swollen and I haven't gained weight. Anyone else having problems wearing your jewelry?

I can tell that my fingers swell occasionally. I am definitely not looking forward to the moment when I have to stop wearing my ring. It's too damn pretty to sit in its box.

I didn't swell at all last pregnancy and was able to wear my rings until the day I delivered. I put it right back on after I gave birth. I'm hoping I'm able to do the same thing this time.

I've noticed as well, but am still mostly wearing it! When I can't anymore I'll put my ring on a necklace to wear when I go out!

Mine are off. I won't be able to wear them again until baby and Is 6-9 months old .

With my last pregnancy my fingers would never swell.. Now at 14 weeks I'm waiting for the swelling to go down so I can take my rings off. I told DH to go buy a cheap one for me to wear till I have the baby.

My engagement ring didn't fit towards the end of my pregnancy but I got my wedding band bigger for that reason so I can wear it until delivery.

I think this is one of those things where everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. I didn't have to take off my rings throughout my pregnancy last time, but I am 17 weeks and have already noticed a bit of swelling when I workout. So probably won't be able to make it through this time around...

My last pregnancy my EDD was only 2 days different then this one so I'm expecting the same. I think mine came off around the 4th of July. I was super swollen by the end, but I think they were back on within 2 weeks of baby being born.

It wont be long before mine get put in a box for a couple months. I have a tattoo on my finger so even with out it I still have a ring. Dh cant wear his at work, the tattoo was his idea

My e-ring was already tight before I got pregs. I should have taken it to get resized a long time ago and didn't. The price for that is I had to get it cut off by the jeweler a few weeks ago. Sad

It was to the point that no matter what I did it wasn't coming off, and I started to panic that my finger was going to lose circulation. It was very painful. I'll be getting it fixed/resized after the baby gets here. In the meantime, I am still wearing my wedding band, which was a size or so larger then the e-ring anyway. If/when it gets to the point that it also won't come off with some wiggling, I'll be taking this one off as well.

Maybe it's like me. My fingers don't really swell and it's not like my ring doesn't fit but for some reason it feels like it pinches a nerve or something and I have to take it off. The only thing I can think of is that since we have more blood pumping, the ring/s kinda cut off circulation.

If eat salty foods my rings get tight. Last time I swelled so badly but was still able to wear my wedding band most of the time. My e-ring had to go

Being pregnant for the entire summer this time prob means the same thing will happen. I have a fake ring all ready to go though. LOL

i definitely don't wear my rings at night. Pregnant or not, they would definitely get stuck on my hand!

I was able to wear both bands until about 32-34 weeks and just my band until 37 weeks then I blew up and had to take them off for the last 3 weeks. I'm guessing I won't make it very far since it's the summer and my hands tend to swell in the summer anyways.

Mine too.. I have short chubby fingers to begin with but now my rings are falling off. I thought it would've been the other way around

I never had to lose my rings during my last pregnancy. I wore my wedding band through labor and delivery and the entire time at the hospital.

I was super upset when I had to take my engagement ring off at night (wedding band still fits). My husband has made it all better though. Every morning, my hubby propses to me and slips (now with a little more resistance!) the ring on my finger! It makes me feel good when I am huge and tired to know that my husband still loves me and would marry me all over again. So it is kinda weird when someone asks about how he proposed since I have to say "Well the first time was at the lighthouse. But the last time he proposed was this morning when I still had crusties in my eyes and just finished barfing!"

Sometimes my fingers swell and my rings get really tight so I'll take them off for a bit. I think it's going to get bad this summer.

My rings are tight some days, especially now that it's getting hotter. A few weeks ago, my rings were so tight that I had trouble getting them off. I know I won't be able to wear them in the summer.

I didn't make it last time and doubt I will this time either. Though I never wear them to bed. Heck I don't wear them at home, and neither does MH.

My rings also feel loser recently which I thought was odd. I know that once the weather really starts to warm up it will probably be harder to keep them on b/c my fingers do swell a bit in the heat.

I havent had any problems due to swelling, more like workout issues bc of crossfit. I have had some swelling in my left arm where I cant get a knot out and its causing an issue in my ring finger. But I dont wear them when I workout. Sometimes I dont wear them at night so my hands can relax.

My fingers are more swollen this pregnancy... they feel now how they did at delivery with DS, I never took them off last time. Now I only will wear them out and even then I forget to put them on if I am in a rush
