We are suppose to be taking a family vacation soon to Florida and will be driving to Disney for a day trip. DD1 is 9 years old and DD2 will be about a month away from her second birthday. Their grandparents are going to Florida but not to Disney so they were going to watch the baby while everyone else went to Disney. BUT, I thought it might be fun to bring the baby and briefly considered it but we will probably not. My MIL is acting like I'm a maniac for even considering bringing the baby. So sorry for the rambling, I guess my question is, if you had the option of taking lo, would you? Thanks!
Re: Disney...too young?
We just bought yearly passes last month. We have been taking DD once a week. I have a lot of friends that are Disney families though. Meaning they have been taking their kids since they were babies and such. I only ran into a few issues.

I think it all depends on what you want out of the day. The baby more than likes won't remember the experience and probably won't be able to go on a lot of the rides, so someone will have to sit with him or her. As long as you are okay with sitting out

My parents took the family to Disney when we were like 8, 5, 2 (me), and 1. I don't remember going, but they said we had a good time.
I don't really see the big deal, especially for one day. Lots of people take babies to Disney. I would think it
I'd take LO at least part of the time. We took DS to Legoland and he had fun even though he couldn't go on a lot of rides. You just have to set realistic expectations, especially concerning naps, what LO will be able to do, what you will/won't be able
I do not like Disney and do not consider that a vacation at all. So we will only take DD when she is old enough to enjoy it. That would be much older than 2. If you have the grandparents offering to babysit, I would take them up on th
We to DS at 14 months in February so the weather was GREAT but it was more crowded than I expected. I think that if we went now, we would have a harder time just b/c he is much more active, but I would still shoot for it. It's all in your expectations
I'm dying to take DD to Disney. My inlaws have a condo time share 5 minutes away and go every year during spring break. But DH and I discussed it and we are waiting until DD is 3 to go the first time. Even though we could technically
I would concentrate on it being a special outing for just you and your 9year old! They will enjoy the one on one time with you as parents and wont have to add the extra stress of a toddler. Plus the 9 year old will be interested in different things tha
