I received the Sonoline B yesterday and tried it out. It took awhile, but sure enough I finally found the heartbeat. It def. takes some patience and practice. It was way down low. My pointer is you have to press pretty firmly. The first time I tried it took a bit (at least 15+ min) and my husband had to run to the grocery store for dinner, so I found it after he left. I tried again later so he could hear it and was surprised it took me just as long the second time, even with knowing the spot.
To the left and right of center of right above pubic bone I kept getting what I think is an artery that comes in around 110-120, but babies heartbeat was 150 (which is what it was at both previous DR's visit).
So my question is, how often and how long do you use the doppler for? Just looking for a frame of reference. Kinda makes me nervous how long it takes to find. I didn't want to use it for too long. Leave your pointers as well if you have some.
Re: My doppler review, pointer, and one question
I always ha
I use mine daily until movement is regular. Patience is a must this early on. Baby can scoot away quickly so you may only hear it for a second. As baby gets bigger and you become more skilled it gets easier to find.

I received my Doppler about a week ago and I've used it almost every day (just not the day I saw the dr and heard the hb on u/s). I plan to use it frequently until movement starts. It gives me peace of mind and makes me smile.
