    And since we live in a rural area I think it's really cute when little boys have Carhartt and work/cowboy boots on to go "help" their dads work on the farm.

    My inlaws are from Scotland so my MIL will go by the name "Gran" which I love. My UO is that my FIL wants to go by "Papa" and I don't like that. No offense to anyone who calls their grandpa "Papa"! It's a New England thing and for some reason it bugs me.

    First Son - born 2013
    Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV).  First open heart surgery at 5 days old.  He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing.
    Third Son - due June 9, 2018

    My UO is that I'm tired of people complaining about wanting the baby out and being uncomfortable. Going into my pregnancy I never assumed I would go any less than 40 weeks.

    I've known Papa to be an Italian thing too.  My mom is 100% Italian and her parents are Nana and Papa to all of the grandkids.  My mom and dad are going to be Nonnie and Papa to our baby.

    I call my dad Papa, and that's what my husband wants to be called by our son. It's what you call dad in French.

    My husband's Italian grandfather is Papa as well.

    I despise the responses people with lots of kids, especially multiples, are "supposed" to use. Such as: "Wow, you really have your hands full!" Required response: "full hands, full heart" or "better than empty".

    I am really bothered when people assume that I won't try to breastfeed this one since I was unsuccessful with my daughter. 

     

    Also I agree, my husband works nights and he is at every appointment of mine. He missed one appointment
