Extremly fussy and tired 11 month old

My son has been fussy and tired acting for several days now. Sunday he went to bed at 4:30 and did not wake up until 6:30 when I woke him up. He has been sick and is on meds, but it has been about two weeks now. Do you think I should take him back to the dr. Also, my husband as been out of town for two weeks as well. Do you think it might be because he misses dad? I just don't know what to do. He is normally happy all the time and now he just wants to be held. The daycare even called to tell me he was upset and not playing. I am at the end of my rope trying to figure out what is wrong.

    Rough doing it all on your own I know!  It might be another tooth perhaps? My DS and yours are about a month apart, we have 8 and I just found this lil ragged edge of a tooth today on bottom, so # 9 here we come. Could be that or the cold he's still getting over, mine is clingy right now too.

    We went to the after hours dr. and he had puss pockets inside his trout, but he tested negative for streap. I am thinking that with the puss pockets and the rash he has it, but the test is negative because of the antibiotics.
