I stuck Lily in her crib to give me a break.  She was freaking out and I'm exhausted and just wanted to sit and relax or a little bit before we have to go pick up DH from work.  The crazy part?  She's loving it.  She's playing in there, turning on her music box, chatting away, happy as can be.  And if I hadn't done it, she'd probably still be screaming at me, hitting me, and throwing any books and toys that I try to entertain her with.  Win-win!

    Nice! Sometimes they need that quiet alone time too. Hopefully she takes a little nap too!

    Uh, this has become our "afternoon nap" routine. He won't sleep, but he'll hang out in his crib for an hour just having a blast by himself. Whatever. Beer me.
    July 20th, 2012: Never forget the day the fb douchebags tried so hard, but ultimately failed. Viva la October 2011! Yeah, I called you douchebags.

    DD recently started walking up to her crib and saying "nap". She doesn't sleep in there but it is such a nice break for me.

    All I can say is that I should have left her in there.  The rest of the afternoon/evening was a disaster.

    Love it when it works out that way!

    My DD generally likes to be in her crib. She is quite content to play with the toys in there, roll around, etc! Sometimes a change of scene does everyone some good when we are having a frustrating day!

    After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011!
