I have a similar list of items I still need to purchase...maybe I will post it to Facebook and see if I can get some people to buy the rest for me. Tucks pads and nipple cream are appropriate gifts righ
wow...just wow. I've been invited to events on facebook alone before, but that's usually an actual "facebook invite", not being tagged on a picture. Then to top it off, having to say exactly what you're planning on buying a month BEFORE the actual shower
So... maybe I missed this somewhere, but when is she actually due? The shower is in July... but they need to know what they aren't getting as gifts in June so they can buy it themselves a month early?
My prediction is that if she has enough sense to want to give thank-you notes for the gifts, they'll filled out and placed underneath the favors at the shower. Which will probably be something awesome, like plastic footballs that were 99 for a dollar. <
Interesting, I'd hurry and untag myself to save embarrassment and my friends seeing that shiit like I'm involved in the crazy tackiness. That's pretty sad if she can't afford a pack of underware, sounds like she shouldn't be having more children.

Maybe you could just pay in advance for her hospital stay. Or a specific part of it. Post on FB that you are gifting vaginal tear stitches and anal repair creams, up to $400. BEFORE JUNE.
The list sounds like the list I gave MH yesterday to get at WalMart. I guess it was tacky of me to send him to buy pads, witch hazel (tucks pads), nipple cream, rubbing alcohol and receiving blankets.
My suggestion is to buy a gift outside of the registry list. Condoms.

Re: Just received this...
O M G... speechless.
If she can't even buy herself a box of pads, why is she having a child?!
Anxiously awaiting baby #1! Baby BOY Due: May 30, 2013!

I can't wait to get home to see the invite and list...
And definitely share with the baby shower board.
The only way to make this tackier is if the girl is throwing it herself (she's 23 and on the 3rd kid???), and they have a dia
I can't. I just can't. UNREAL!!!
Oh my god I would never in a million years expect someone to buy me underwear! How mortifying.
So tacky
I showed my husband. He says to ignore it and if anyone asks say you didn't get an invitation. Because you didn't!

Have they never heard of an in store registry? Flucking Wal-Mart even does registries now.
How far apart can your kids be if it's your 3rd kid at age 23? Clearly you should still have all the basics like a swing, pack n p
