I don't smell it, but my sense of smell isn't magnified. But there was a post a few months ago on botb where the lady said that her cat was getting herself off and took a very up close picture. ::shuddering::
This could be a reason for me to never, ever, ever get a female dog.
Teddy licks his wang (haha...wang) which is disgusting and makes me want to puke, but I'm glad he keeps himself clean, I guess. I'm super glad he's a long dog because he doesn't seem to mess with his tush much. I've very glad for that.
He does eat poop from time to time, though. That kind of detracts from the whole not-licking-his-butt niceness.
OK, proof that dogs and humans are very very far from being related.
I just took Sophie out to poop (she did, I had a feeling she needed to), and then she came back in and continued licking. She then immediately walked over to her food bowl and is now chowing down.
It's a damn good thing I don't have pregnancy nausea because this would be too much for me to handle right now. If Brian were here, he'd be yelling at her - haha!
I can totally sympathize with you! Sookie (a schnauzer) does it and it makes an awful sound that just grosses me out. The worst part about her is that she expresses her anal glands on a daily basis. Usually when she is in a deep sleep. It smells like rotten shrimp and according to the vet is what is supposed to smell like and there is really nothing that can be done about it!
Re: My dog reeks. (gross - sorry)
