  I didn't find till 14 weeks I think but I have a tilted uterus.  Listen for a wind tunnel sound...that's the placenta.  The baby is usually somewhere in the vicinity next to it.  You will hear your HB too so make sure to listen for the fast

  Check REALLY low...like right on your pubic bone.  I found mine on the left side right against the bone when I was a little over 11 weeks.

  Headphones, lotion or oil, and yes it is very low. You will be able to tell between your heartbeat and the baby. I did not find it with it until 14 5 days, but I did not try everyday either.

  Use baby oil, headphones, push down firmly, and I found mine really low down on the left hand side.

  I think I found the heart beat around 12 weeks, but it took several days and a lot of patience.  Like others have said, the baby is still low....  much lower than I expected.  I use aloe gel. Make sure you move the doppler really slowly.
