Letdown setting?

I had the Lansinoh double electric with my first two girls. It worked fine, but I ordered the freestyle for this time to be more mobile. It has a bunch of new settings, like a letdown button, and I have no idea how to use that! I read the manual, but honestly, I didn't really get how that function works.

Anyone have the answers?

    my lanisnoh affinity has a letdown feature that is automatic the first 2 mins you pump. If I push the button, it turns that off.   So my guess would be that you use it on the freestyle the same.  Its not necessary, its just supposed to help with

    On my Lansinoh pump, it's light rapid suction that lasts for 2 minutes as soon as you hit the power button. In my experience, it's never really done much for me because the suction isn't strong enough. Back in the beginning when I had an oversupply, mi
