I have a close friend who was waxed a few days before her scheduled csection she was having twins and now I'm wondering if I need to clean up shop before the delivery? Might be tmi but STM's, did you wax/trim or just keep it natural? I can't imagine I'll be able to do any trimming/shaving down there when close to the due date as my tummy will be big. Anyone else planning on doing anything before baby comes or staying au natural?

I kept up on it during pregnancy as far as trimming goes. But honestly, it really doesn't matter.

LOL, my vag looked like a forest that could have been featured in Nat Geo. There was NO WAY I was having my extra sensitive lady bits waxed that far along and I couldn't see down there to shave. No one seemed to give a ratsass.

As soon as I felt I was in labor, I took the quickest shower and shaved before going to the hospital and THANK GOD I did because with all the people in the room I did not want to be exposed with a bush down there. JMO...

I just kept trimmed as much as I could. I got a mani and pedi and other things to feel pretty. You don't really care how things look down there when your trying to push a baby out... At least I didn't!

i would not wax while pregnant. Ouch. But my skin is super sensitive.

i would rather have a botched shave job than none at all!

DH did my trimming and shaving the night before my induction. I'm glad he did since I ended up having a c section so the nurses didn't have to shave me. He even did my upkeep after I had DD until he left to go back overseas (he was on R&R).

I was so huge, if I had tried to shave I would have likely ended up cutting off my labia. I was NOT going for a wax at that size either, no way am I laying on the waxing table like a beached whale for what would likely be the most painful wax EVER.

One reason to wax specifically before a C-Section is because they will shave you. Its much easier to be post partum and waxed vs post partum and dealing with in grown hairs and such from a nurse shaving you.
