Eilidh/Ailie

What are your thoughts on Eilidh/Ailie [Eilidh is original Scottish, Ailie is the anglicized version]? I think it is really pretty. I'm not Scottish, but I find their names beautiful. I've heard it can also be a nickname for Eilionoir {Ay-lee-nur} [Scottish form of Eleanor/Elinor]. Would you use it alone? A NN for Elinor/Eleanor? I think it is a nice twist to Ellie.

Bonus question: If you used Eilidh/Ailie alone, what would you use in the middle name spot? Please leave suggestions!!
