I had my 40-week appointment this morning (nvm my ticker, I am 39w6d). My doctor was out of the office, so she'd set me up with her colleague. I had never met her before, but I liked her. She attempted a membrane sweep, but my cervix was still pretty long she joked she was going to end up with a tendinitis.

DH and DD1 tagged along for my appointment, so DD1 was able to hear her little brother's heart beat. Not sure if she truly realized what it was, but she thought it was the neatest thing

Induction is scheduled for Tuesday of next week and I have to go in for an NST this Friday.

And now I'm tired and crampy.
