Lobster tails

OK hubby went to the store to pick up dinner. Lobster tails were on sale... YAY... i can put them in the boiling water while they are frozen...right? I do this with crab legs, but haven't with lobster before. Thanks!

 

Any better suggestions i am def open to! Big Smile

  • I always defrost before I cook them - either baked or steamed.  But you can defrost them pretty quickly by putting them in a colander (in a plastic bag) and run tepid water over them.  Or put them (in the bag) in a bowl with tepid water and ever

  • Well then defrosting seems easy enough.... how do i bake them?

     

    lol totally new to lobster tails. husband isn't a fish eater so i rarely ever get it! 

  • I would defrost them first the water temp will drop to much frozen. Just run them under water they will thaw quick
  • Ok so I ended up defrosting.

    Then I put garlic salt and butter and grilled them. So good!! Thanks ladies
