So, my lovely cats peed on dd's nice Chicco Keyfit carseat. For the life of me, I can't get the smell out and feel terrible putting her in it. Should I get another infant seat or find a convertible she can use too? She is about 13lbs and 24in long. Thanks!

I would definitely go with a convertible. She should be fine size-wise and the benefits of a infant seat (i.e. being able to carry them around) wane quickly because those seats get SO heavy after just a few months. Plus, you'l

Have you tried spraying the seat with vinegar a few times? When my parents bought their house the floors down to the base layer were ruined with animal urine. We did multiple soakings of vinegar until the smell was finally gone.

I would get a convertible. We needed to get another car seat for DH's truck and I almost bought another infant car seat, but we decided to go with the convertible and boy am I glad we did! DS absolutely loves it, he can see a little better out the wind
