I'm thinking about turning the blanket I started knitting into a really long, skinny scarf for baby instead. But that would give DH the satisfaction of being right when he said I never finish the projects I start! Why do these things sound like such great ideas until I get knee deep in DIY?

I started crocheting a blanket for DH almost a year ago and it's still not finished! I told him it's now a baby's blanket, but it's boy colors. So I started a girl color blanket and then stopped. I'll pick it back up when we find out what we're having!

I would definitely not make a scarf for a baby. But I totally understand that you don't feel like finishing the blanket. I started a sweater for DS over the summer and will definitely not get it done before he would outgrow it. D@mn fingering weight yarn
