Has anyone used colace to help bm's?   how much did you take?  how soon did it help?

    It didn't help me and I couldn't hold it down. A liquid glycerin suppository was the only thing that helped and since then I've been normal

    I just started taking it and it is a miracle from the heavens. I took 3 the first day and have been taking 1 a day since. It took 1 day to work. I just followed the directions on the label. My pills have 100 mg in each pill.

    I have ibs and was taking 300mg of colace a day. Usually pills are in 100mg form. I had been symptom free for months until pregnancy.

    It really does make a difference. I might start taking it again.

    Oh and buy it at Sam's Club if you can, it's is like 1/10 the cost!!

    My doctor actually had me do MiraLax. So far so good! It comes pre measured and you only have to take it once a day!
