Membranes stripped yesterday

I am 39 wks. My doctor stripped my membranes yesterday. She said I am 80 effaced, 1 to 2cm dilated and at a negative 1 station. All night I had cramps. Towards the end of the night, while lying in bed I had 3 strong contractions. I fell asleep. Woke up from a few strong ones throughout the night. Woke up and had the urge to throw up.

Today, I have a ton of pressure and discharge after every cramp.

Is labor near? I feel energized today.

    Well at 12cm dilated, you should have you baby in your arms already! ;)

    Every women is different and so are all the signs leading up to labour. 

    I haven't had my membranes swept yet, but last Saturday I had irregular very uncomfortable

    I'm thinking you are on mobile and meant 1 to 2 cm dilated? Otherwise, like PP said, you should have given birth already since 10 cm is fully dilated.

    Lol! I didn't realize it didn't do my dashes. I meant 1 to 2 cm dilated! My goodness at 12, uff dah!!

    I think so! But keep trying to rest as much as possible...tonight if you can sleep, do it...in the morning I would take a long walk - good luck!

    Did it hurt to get ur membranes stripped. I am kinda nervous to get it done.
