Leg cramps??

Anyone else having leg cramps that feel like growing pains??? How do you cease them?

Re: Leg cramps??

  • I'm afraid they may get worse, and not cease until you give birth. Mine got worse and worse until I had them almost every night in the middle of the night.

  • For me leg cramps usually mean I need to eat a banana (potassium) or that I need to drink more water (dehydration).
  • My upper legs, almost to my hip area have been hurting me non-stop this week.

My whole body hurts really, but the worst is my shoulders. I could cry they hurt so bad 24/7.

  • Ditto the potassium and/or water. Also, I remember when I was growing up and I'd get leg cramps at night from growing, and my mom would put hot washcloths on my legs. It felt soooo good. So, a heating pad or a warm bath might do the trick.

  • I had really bad leg cramps earlier this week. Sooo bad that I was hunched over on Monday. I found that after I went to the gym and got in a workout with a stretch I felt much better.
