Babies: 9 - 12 Months

MSPI moms

My son had severe allergic colitis, acid reflux and MSPI.  He's been on the hypoallergenic formula Elecare since 2 months because it was the only thing he could tolerate.  I was told he would probably outgrow these issues by the time he turned one and I am curious to hear from other moms.  Is your LO able to drink whole milk now?  If not, what do you give them?

  • Our LO has severe reflux and MSPI.  He's been on Elecare since about 6 weeks (after a nightmare trip to the hospital for a distended abdomen). Similar to other posters our GI wants to wait until a least 11 months before we introduce any dairy at all
