Introduction :)

I am 25 weeks pregnant with my 2nd little - we are having another sweet baby girl, due July 31.

With my first - I wasnt necessarily aiming hardcore for a natural/med-free birth, and wasnt against meds either. I ended up with an epidural after finding out I was in back labor - hearing that was enough for me.

I didnt have any complications with DD from it - she nursed perfectly from the start, ect. However, I was not able to fully feel my legs for about 2 weeks after. It was like they were asleep for the first few days - and until about 2 weeks were up I had to be very careful and really think about the steps I was taking - and I did end up falling a few times (never with DD in my arms).

This time I really am aiming for a med free birth. I am super excited that our hospital now does water births and am set up to do that - we tour the rooms next month! With a water birth our hospital also provides a doula free of charge so we will get to meet with her. I am really hoping this helps me be able to meet my goals.

Anyway - I may lurk for awhile to see what I learn or pick up on - but felt funny not introducing myself a bit!
