Posted this on the BF board but wanted to get some thoughts from my April mommas:
My daughter was born on March 23 and weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. We had trouble getting the hang of BF initially but after meeting with a great LC, I think we have it down. However, she still hasn't regained her birth weight. She was 7 pounds, 2 ounces at her weight check this morning. I have been feeding her every 2-3 hours and supplementing with an ounce of pumped milk after every other feeding. The pediatrician wants me to supplement with formula at every feeding as she only gained four ounces in the last week. I'm so discouraged and am starting to consider throwing in the towel and just go to FF. She has plenty of wet and dirty diapers and is very alert so it just seems ridiculous to me that regaining birth weight seems to be the only foundation that my pediatrician is following. She can't be the only baby that hasn't regained he birth weight this late in the game, right? Thoughts are appreciated.

I'm not sure why your
