DS loves listening to/watching on TV the Celtic Thunder show. They will be performing in our area in the Fall shortly after DS turns 2. The show is in a venue where there is a hotel and it doesn't start until 7 PM. Tickets are $45 each. We are considering taking DS to the show since he seems to like it and we would enjoy it too. Are we nuts to even consider it? Would you dare do this? He has sat through football games and hockey games just fine. WWYD?
Re: Would you do this or am I nuts?
I would do it, as long as I had easy access to get out if needed! Can you request aisle seats? That way, if one of you needs to take your DS out for a break, it's easier.

Those are good points about being concerned with the noise level. I was thinking more about people giving me the stink eye for bringing a 2 year old to an evening concert. I was hoping they would have a matinee but they don't. I was also concerned
I wouldn't. Mostly because I'm selfish and wouldn't enjoy the show myself as much if I had to wrangle a kid the whole time. Plus, I'm cheap. I don't wanna spend a crapload of money on something like this for my 2 year old,

Last year, we took our 2 and 4 year old to see the Celtic Women. They were obsessed with watching their videos and listening to them so we took them when they came to town. It was an outside venue, so maybe a little easier for movement with them.We too
