What to expect at 6w. pp. appt?

Just wondering what i could expect at my 6week pp appt after my c-section? mainly so i can decide to find someone to watch LO. Thanks!

    Mine was pretty quick. My Dr checked my incision, felt my belly to make sure my uterus was back to normal size and checked if my cervix was closed. My incision was infected since the surgery so I had to go back at 8 weeks to double check it. Then I got th

    I had a pap since it had been a year since my last one. I am breastfeeding so I didn't have a breast exam. He looked at my incision. I also took a paper "exam" to screen for PPD.

    My appointment was probably 10 minutes long--and that's just because I asked questions.  My OB checked my incision, did a quick pelvic exam, and checked my breasts for any sign of mastitis.  Then she went over birth control.  That's it.

    I brought LO with me. It was a pretty quick check and then I got the depo provera shot. Around 20 minutes if that.

    Im not at 6w yet but I've already been in twice and LO has been with me both times. I always see new babies at my OBs office, it's pretty much expected you'll bring them with you as opposed to having childcare that early. In fact, the staff and dr look fo
