I am using the methods drawn from Dr. Richard Ferber's book "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems" Here's how my fourth night of sleep training went:
8:00pm-down
2:00am- cried for 10 mins -shush/patted for 3 minutes, cried for 12 minutes- shush/patted for 3 minutes, cried for 8 minutes before falling asleep around 2:40am
7:45am- woke up, W was fed and changed and then fell back to sleep in his crib
9:00am- up for the day
I highly recommend reading this book if you are interesting in sleep training your baby, and of course get approval/ advice from your pedi first. It's important to know what you are doing before attempting anything. This method is still working wonders for me in comparison to how W used to sleep. As always GL, here's wishing for long stretches of sweet dreams to you and bebe!
