Horrible ms

I've been quiet because I've been really sick. Got a nasty virus and morning sickness hit at the same time. The good news is that we had a fetal pole at my second u/s and we got to see and hear the heartbeat. best day ever...the bad news is that I'm now sick ALL THE TIME.

Somehow I have managed to only actually throw up once, but the nausea is permanent. Movement makes it worse so I'm stuck in bed. People have given me tips but nothing seems to be helping. My dr doesn't want to give me meds unless I start actually throwing up a lot.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm so miserable.

    I'm so sorry to hear you have morning sickness.  I see you have lost several pregnancies, and they always say having a lot of m/s is usually a good sign....although it definitely stinks!

    Thank you. I'm trying to eat a little bit every hour or two. Sticking to pretty bland foods because there's not much I can stomach. Trying to stay hydrated. It's amazing how absolutely horrible it feels to eat right now.

    First I would try talking to your doc again. I rarely ever throw up but feeling so nauseaous you can't move sucks, that's how it was in my last pregnancy. I found I could only handle salad with chicken any type of carb made it worse. Also lots of wate

    Thanks you guys, I have not tried lemonade...will give it a shot. Baked potato is one of the only things I can stomach so maybe I should try chips too. I appreciate the suggestions!

    I cannot emphasize pps' advice about Zofran enough. I was working 3-4 12 hour shifts a week as a nurse during my first trimester and the smells made my already significant MS that much worse. I would not have survived without the Zofran.

    Definitely talk to your doctor again, but in the meantime try sea bands.  They are elastic bracelets with a little hard piece of plastic that sits on a spot over your wrist.  It's a form of accupressure.  They should be available at most dr

    Thanks so much for checking on me!  I'm not on here much right now because the computer seems to aggravate my nausea.  The Zofran is really helping.  It doesn't make me 100%...I still feel really weak and tired all the time, and I do still

    So glad the Zofran is working somewhat, even if it's not a 100 percent fix. The constipation is a battle, I remember -- try fiber gummies, plus the Colace, and tons of water and anything with fiber you can stomach (Kashi cereal?). And remember that the
