What kind of BC did you use after your LO was born, were you happy with it?

I'm on the mini pill and have been spotting since I started it. On top of that, I'm horrible about taking it at the same time everyday... Making my chances of getting KU 1 in 20. So it is pretty much worthless to me. Pretty sure I'd die if I got pregnant right now! LOL

I had a fool-proof form of BC last time: deployment. Didn't have to worry about getting KU for 8 months.

I have no idea what we are going to do this time since it will actually be an issue (since DH will actually be here) - I hated taking BC pill

At this point I'm thinking about mierna or paraguard. I like the idea of horomone free paraguard but my SIL also has bad periods on it.
MrsSkull, do you have bad periods and PMS with Mierna?

I love love love my Mirena, insertion was fairly painless, minimal spotting for maybe a week or 2, it did take a little while for my periods to regulate, but they are almost non-existent now.
