LO use to STTN in crib, now NOT STTN and in our bed! Help!

LO use to STTN in his crib perfectly fine. But that stinking wakeful period hit and now he wont STTN unless he is in our bed.

I typically will put him to sleep and then place him in his swaddle and in his crib. He will either wake up instantly once I put him in his crib, or he will wait 30 mins as I get comfy in bed and then will scream his head off and he wont eat or anything and wont let me put him back down in his crib. But as soon as I take him in our room and snuggle him in my arms he is out cold. But, I am not getting any sleep because I stay up making sure he is comfortable and not digging his head into my chest so that he cant breathe. I hate that its the only way he will sleep. I tried letting him cry a bit but DH ends up not being able to sleep either and just tells me to go get him.

Help! I don't know what to do. Any tips or tricks to get him STTN in his crib again?
