Sleeping arrangements

Ok, I'm totally against sleeping with my baby/child, I think mostly because its how I was raised. My mom said she never slept with any of us while we were babies and if we woke up from a bad dream or something we had to sleep in the floor beside her if we wanted to be in there. So, my question is any STM's who also strictly use a crib, if so any advice?

We used a bassinet for a few months then the crib. We never had a issue. I chose not to let her sleep with us for safety reasons. I also think everyone sleeps better when baby is in their own room.

We were pretty strict with our 1st. She never slept in bed with us as a baby. With the 2nd we got a little less adamant(sleep deprived). I was breast feeding with her so it was just so easy to roll over and let her latch on. We'd all sleep soundly. </p
