Teething at 2 1/2 months..

I think ds is teething already. He is constantly drooling and putting his hands in his mouth. He also has 2 white bubbles on his gums which could be the teeth coming through. Anyone else in this boat? He feels to young to be teething already.

    at my ds's 2 month checkup, the dr said he could be teething, but that doesn't mean his teeth will come in anytime soon. I think I read that the earliest teeth might come in is around 3 months so it could be.

    Yep, DS had three teeth by 5 months.

    Sounds excactly like DS. I saw those white things too and were SURE they were teeth buds.

    Our pedi said they were some sort of little gum cysts.

    He also said that ALL babies around that age start drooling and putting their hands in their mouths like crazy, it's not necessarily an indicator that teeth are coming anytime soon!

    DS is doing the same thing.  He gets extremely fussy at times too- you can tell he's in pain.  He likes to chew on my finger and I can feel little bumps.  I was telling this to one lady and she said her son had 3 teeth cut at 2-1/2 months, so it's not entirely unheard of
