LO makes gasping for air sounds..

Just in the past week or so my 15 month old will constantly make a new sound like she's gasping for air. She'll even do it to the point she'll start coughing sometimes.  I mentioned this at her 15 months apt. to the pedi and they said it was nothing to worry about and that she's just testing out new sounds, but I still can't help but freak out everytime she does it. 

Any of your little ones do this?

    Yes! And she also finds it hilarious to gag herself.

    Freaks me out and then she giggles.

    It's aggravating..lol.

    Does she seem happy when she does it? If she does than I wouldn't consider it an issue. When LO gets excited sometimes he makes a noise like he is hyperventilating, but it is clear he is playing with sounds because he smiles the whole time. If she makes t
