So, pregnancy emotional craziness aside, I am feeling really sexually incompetent at the moment. All of my friends, mom, siblings, anyone I happen to talk to always talks about how sex got so much better for them during pregnancy.
My husband and I were both virgins when we got married, and it took us a while to get the hang of sex (well... it took ME a while, haha). Just when it got better, WHAMO. Pregnant. And now I feel like all of these different hormones are provoking negative responses from my body... Like bringing the Sahara to my Down Under. And it's just so painful. And I feel so miserable. Not because of the pain, but because the hubs knows it hurts and he is being so sweet and not asking anything sexually of me through all of this and I feel like I can't give him anything in return.
Anyway, enough of the pity party. Anyone else experiencing painful sex during pregnancy? Please tell me I'm not the only one... and is there anything I can do to alleviate the pain? I have sensitive skin and most lubes make sex even more uncomfortable.
Re: Painful sex........
Try using KY sensitive. That's what I have to use.
FYI, there are other ways you can take care of him and your needs if vaginal intercourse isn't working
BFP 3/29/2014 2u2 Let's do this!
Definitely don't force it. If it hurts, stop.
That being said, I'd try a variety of lubes and see what works. KY Sensitive as PP said, or Pre Seed?

Everyone's sex life is different during pregnancy. It is unreasonable to expect your experience will be the same. I don't think that makes you sexually incompetent. If it hurts then it hurts. There isn't a whole lot you can do about it except try more
