Scottish/Gaelic Names?

Hiya!

DH and I are Americans currently living in Scotland for the next 3-4 years. We are TTC #2 and would like to pick a name that is Scottish or Gaelic as a nod to our time here. I would love to hear some suggestions if you have any. Our list so far is:

Boy- Iain Francis, Connor Francis, Graeme Francis

Girl- Isobel Judith, Isla Judith,

The middle names Francis and Judith are both family names that we would like to use, but they are not set in stone. DD is Emma Christine (how original, I know) if that helps anyone.

I have a Alastair and an Andrew, both Scottish names. Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland, which I'm sure you already know. I also like Ian/Iain, Magnus, Ewan, Callum. I think Irish rather than Scottish with Connor. I do like Graeme but prefer the G

Connor - nice name but I certainly dont look at it and think of it as a Scottish/Gaelic name b/c its so used now n the states

Graeme - I like this, but I think the spelling is too "out there" to fir in well once you move back stateside

I like Iain and Isla best of those you have. Some other options:

Ailsa, Heather, Rose/Rosie, Louise, Eilidh is super-pretty but there is no way non-Scots could pronoun

I love Graeme and Isla! I really like the Graeme spelling and think it would be a great nod to your time in Scotland. DD is Isla so we obviously love it. Isobel is just overdone IMO. Emma and Isla would be an adorable sibset.</p
